Our clothes are ‘feel-good’ in the true sense of the world. The stylish designs and beautiful fabrics will make you feel great about the way you look, but they’ll also let your conscience rest easy, too. All our garments are made from sustainable innovative materials, such as tencel (made from wood pulp) and soya, while their manufacture provides a much-needed source of income for the people who make them, without risk of exploitation or use of child labour.

The factory in Nepal where our clothes are made is more than just a supplier; the owner – Rahul Shakya – is a partner in our business. While we pay a full and fair price for the clothes, Rahul guarantees a fair wage, good working conditions and equal opportunities for his workers.

The same goes for all the work done outside the factory. Our beading, embroidery and appliqué work, for instance, is outsourced to women in the neighbouring villages, whose wonderfully detailed work is done at home, where they can work to their own timetables and around the needs of their families.

At Giggle, we believe that your choices can make a difference and that fair trade is the way forward. Together, we can ensure that the garment trade helps alleviate poverty rather than contribute towards it.
