Cashmere, the fibre of kings, has long been one of the most exotic, rarest fibres to be found. This fibre is so luxurious that the Arc of the Covenant of the Old Testament was said to be lined and curtained with it.

The source of cashmere fibre for clothing is the ultra-fine undercoat of the Kashmir goat and is extremely warm as its original purpose was to protect the animals from cold mountain temperatures. Experts claim that cashmere is 8 times warmer than sheep’s wool. It is soft, light weight, durable and makes wonderful garments for wearing, offering great insulation, warm in the winter and cool in spring.
